Nurturing Birth Doulas Welcomes You

Our mission at Nurturing Birth Doulas is to help as many people as we can to have rewarding and empowering experiences during the births of their babies.  We believe that every birthing person who would like to have the help and support of a doula should be able to have that help.  We keep our fees as low as we can and set aside some of our revenue to help support families that cannot afford our services otherwise.  We do this work directly from the heart and find great joy in connecting with growing families as they make their way on the amazing journey that is birth.

At Nurturing Birth Doulas, we welcome, respect, and honor everyone.  We work with people of any age, gender identity, race, sexual orientation, physical or mental ability, ethnicity, and perspective.  We believe that inclusion and inclusivity are so much more than words; they underpin our thoughts and actions, all the time.  We approach each growing family with sensitivity and understanding.  We don’t make any assumptions.  We learn your preferences and abide by them.  

Our only agenda is to help each and every one of you to navigate the amazing journey that is birth.  We do so with loving, open hearts and hands.  And we totally get a kick out of the vibrant differences that make all of us unique!

We also understand that some of you will have had experiences that may have left you with trauma or raw feelings.  To the extent that you choose to share that with us, we will listen and look for ways to help.  We will also do everything in our power as we work with you to ensure that you receive outstanding care from us and from anyone else involved in your birth.  We will not stand by and allow any of our clients to be treated with unkindness, disrespect, or hurtful ignorance.  We will engage, without rancor, to support you and to help others on their learning journeys.
